After some testing, the issue seems to be the GRAYOUT_TEXTURE hook (which seems to be empty) in KaleidoScope_GrayOutTextureRGBA32, which causes an early return skipping the game's original logic. However, simply removing it doesn't entirely fix the issue. I think due to the texture caching system and removed dependence of assets, switching from adult to child or vice versa will result in the textures staying grayed out and causes all instances of that one texture to be grayed out even when only the texture in the pause menu (not on the C-buttons etc) should be grayed. What would be the fix for this?
