Jedi Order

The following material is for the next generation. It comes from guides pieced together from "a long time ago in a galaxy far away". Try not to be distracted by its rough edges. The first thing you need to know: Truth is the basis of Power. What follows are some dreams you may turn into reality. Perhaps they'll point themselves out to you as you start to believe and you will help make it real....

The Jedi orders itself for the purposes of serving the whole of the living universe. It is given recognition for its utility in the service to the prophesy on your dollar -- Novus Ordo Seclorum. You could say the Jedi Order are a dream of that prophesy that can be utilized for fixing and holding the world, since there will be no military in a world democracy. The Jedi have no creed, yet maintain a reverential stance towards something transcendental they call the Force.

The Force is the invisible hand that guides world events. The Jedi Order abide with this force so that they can tip the scales towards higher ideals. It also is how they live in harmony with the whole with efficient precision. They are the butterflies in the system: minute local changers that move everything towards greater harmony and order.

The Jedi are the supercells in the body of Man, keeping the system in balance, like the immune system of the body. They are inconspicuous, quiet, precisely focussed, and hold the knowledge of the whole.

Your present world polarizes science vs. religion. Imagine science plus religion and you have the Jedi. There is no future without both. The Jedi is the only realistic scenario built out of all other superhero possibilities. The Force/the Tao has already contemplated this in making the New World Order prophesy: it is a secular prophesy, yet is made after the forces of the Divine resolve.

The Jedi Order are not mercenaries for hire. They institute order by higher wisdom through agreements within the soul itself. They can be called on for resolving and understanding conflicts, getting greater production out of a population to justify expenditures, to consult on ecosystem imbalances, and even to assist in a pain-free childbirth and bringing in new life.
