EESSI test suite sync meetings

Planning

  • every 2 weeks on Thursday at 14:00 CE(S)T
  • next meetings:
    • Wed 20 Sept 14:00 CEST (except Satish)
    • Wed 4 Oct 15:00 CEST (except Sam)
    • Thu 19 Oct 14:00 CEST: OK for all

Meeting (2023-09-06)

  • follow-up on progress towards v0.1

  • pip install doesn't seem to with Python 3.6 (RHEL8) (issue #82)

    • but we're testing this in CI (with Python 3.6!)
    • may be due to setuptools or pip version?
    • Kenneth will look into it

  • Sam's PR #80 to use common config section for logging

    • some errors popped up in Caspar's testing, performance data for multiple test variants are being logged to the same file @ Snellius (while it works fine on Vega)
    • could be due to different ReFrame versions (4.2.0 vs 4.2.1)
