channel on Slack, so that we can build additional test cases forarchdetect

problem with Meson picking the wrong linker
- because EasyBuild isn't wrapping ld.gold?
- doesn't accept full path to linker, which is a bit of a problem
- can be fixed by disabling GObject-Introspection, but properly fixing that doesn't seem trivial
- maybe look into what Gentoo Prefix has done for this?
