AU Flow Narrative

The group completed its work on the AU Flow Chart Narrative. The next step is to format/publish on the github.io site.

cmi5 github.io website

The group discussed next steps for the AU narrative which prompted a discussion of cmi5 website (http://aicc.github.io/CMI-5_Spec_Current/) organization and a review of the current state.

The following issues were identified:

  1. The website has mobile device display issues

    • Drop down menus don't appear
    • A more "Bootstrappy" style sheet is needed
  2. The organization of the site is not readily obvious.

    • One suggestion to make the site map more like an open source library site

      1. Getting Started
             a. What is it?
             b. What does it do?
             c. Comparisons
      2. Documentation
             a. Detailed Comparisons
             b. CMI5 Spec
             c. Common Mistakes/FAQ/Best Practices
      3. Code
             a. JSON examples
             b. cmi5 library
      4. Got questions? (Github Issues)

  3. Other improvements were suggested:

    • Reduce the content on the home page (move content to other pages and add links)
    • Update the articles list for cmi5

The group also discussed whether it would be better to host the cmi5 Narrative presentations on the ADL website or the cmi5 website. It was determined that since the ADL is updated less frequently, it would better to use cmi5 website.
