Notes

cmi5 Course structure XML example

Henry Ryng proposed a sample course structure XML for the cmi5 course structure spec.
The example had about a dozen topics and demonstrated subject nesting (blocks).

Severin Neumman provided the following feedback :

  • Add a simple (miminal) example in addition to Henry’s more complete example
  • Change the “subject matter” of the example(s) to be actual learning subjects/topics that the audience can relate to like “how to change a tire” or “how to plant a garden” ,etc.
  • Translate the subjects/topic titles, etc. into the example languages (french, german, spanish, english)
  • Ensure that the objectives were unique

The group will provide suggestions as to the appropriate subject matter for both a “simple” and “complex” course structure example.
