The group continued its discussion of proposed (new) cmi5 Features for spec version 2.0 (IEEE)

The group reviewed the following cmi5 Issues – Marked “Deferred to Next Release” –

• 9.3.9 - SHOULD NOT issue multiple "Satisfied" statements #630
  • Agree to change
  • The LMS MUST NOT issue multiple statements with "Satisfied" for the same Block or Course within a course registration for a given learner.
• Recommend Satisfied statement upon meeting moveOn criteria for an AU #567
  • Agree to add per Best Practice
  • See Best Practice #13 – LMS create “satisfied” statements for AU’s.
• Should we require the triggering AU/Block Activity to be in the contextActivities for "Satisfied" statements? #395 -
  • (Rationale) – There is no way to determine why something was satisfied from statement data
  • If Waived & Satisfied are sent by the LMS for each AU, this feature is not as necessary?
  • Interest level in this feature unclear
• May an LMS change moveOn for a person taking it "during" a registration? #552
  • Outside the scope?
  • Course change means new registration? -
  • Best Practice – You really don’t want to do this!
  • If you modify a course, it’s a new course.
  • More discussion needed.
