Notes
The group continued to discuss the changes to Course Structure
1. All value space examples in XML The group agreed to have all value space examples in XML (as that is the only planned binding). All examples will include the element tag and value(s) – see examples for AU Title and Description below:
<Title>
<langstring lang="en-US">This is an activity title.</langstring>
<langstring lang="es-MX">Este es un título de la actividad.</langstring>
</Title >
<Description>
<langstring lang="en-US">This is the block title</langstring>
<langstring lang="es-MX">Esta es la descripción de los bloques</langstring>
</Description>
2. Add a section to define datatypes The group agreed that there should be a section to define the datatypes used in the specification.
So far there are only 2 data types defined
- String
- Langstring
The types of value spaces currently being used are as follows:
- IRI
- URL
- Vocabulary (Defined by CMI-5)
- No Vocabulary (value spaced defined by vendor)
Next Time
Next meeting we will:
- Discuss “Review Mode” in the Runtime Data model.
