- Prioritization of Last Use Case: Application Profiles
- We had one ticket that we left as Proposed In Scope because we want to @awoods in the conversation before moving forward.
- The extension model has a locked down version of the specification; that might be something to follow but at minimum we might want to provide a way to reference application profiles.
- Similar to schema registry extension partially fills this role. This doesn't tell you where the schemas are and how they are used in the application.
- Could an application profile be an extension? Yes and that could be a valid outcome of the use case along with some language in the implementation notes.
- Decision: Mark it as in scope for V2.
